I’m a graduate of Computer Science and Video Game Design, from the University of Western Ontario, located in London (Ontario). From an early age, I’ve wanted to be a computer programmer. In grade 6, I “wrote” (Ok ok, it was drag and drop...) several programs in something called Authority. I went on to learn QBasic and Visual Basic in High School, and by the time I graduated had successfully made my first video game, a Mortal Kombat ripoff. It was super buggy... but after writing it I knew that this was the field that I wanted to be in.

After Graduating, I moved to Toronto and got a position as a Junior Programmer at Bedlam Games, a small studio of about 60 people located in Toronto’s Distillery District. Working at Bedlam, I quickly learned how much harder it is working in the game industry than what is portrayed in pop-culture... but I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. I’m excited to now be continuing in this field and into the next chapter of my life.

Outside of computers, I love the outdoors. I’ve been an active member of Scouts Canada for most of my life, and love camping, hiking, fishing, and almost everything that the great outdoors has to offer. I’m also a licensed SCUBA diver, and enjoy diving around the Bruce Peninsula.
