Little Guy Games (August 2011 - October 2011)

    Contract programmer at Little Guy Games.  I was one of four programmers working on an as-of-yet unannounced iOS title scheduled to launch later this year. Some of my contributions include creating an inventory system from scratch, procedural level and backgrounds, and touch-and-feel gameplay mechanics.

Bedlam Games (2010-2011)

    At Bedlam Games, I worked as a Junior Programmer from July 2010 until July 2011. During this time, I worked on primarily on Bedlam’s first shipped title, Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale, as well as upcoming Gammworld: Alpha Mutation and an unannounced project. Primarily I worked as a UI programmer, and was responsible for all of the interactions between what was happening behind the scenes in the game and what the user saw of them. I have extensive knowledge of both the Unreal UI Editor as well as Scaleform technologies as a result. In addition to UI, I also worked on several other systems including networking issues, game play and combat.

Bit By Bit Summer Day Camp (2007-2009)

    The Bit By Bit Summer Camp is a multidisciplinary computer science camp for youth aged 10 to 15. My position at the camp was that of co-head counsellor. My duties included creating camp curriculum, organizing camp logistics, and managing a team of 3-5 other counsellors. The camp’s curriculum included Adobe Photoshop CS3, Autodesk Maya, Game Maker 7, Visual Basic, as well as Lego Robotics NXT. More information about the camp can be found at the Bit By Bit Homepage.
